Update your browserIn late 2022 through early 2023 we had over 170 participants who self-identified as Early or Mid-Career Researchers (EMCR) in Australia complete our online survey. We are analysing the results, which will shed light on the experiences and challenges faced by EMCRs. Our aim is to use these findings to advocate to improve the experience of EMCRs working in SHAPE disciplines in Australia.
This survey was cleared in accordance with the ethical review process of the University of Queensland and within the guidelines of the National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research.
The survey study with 170+ EMCRs was conducted from late 2022 through early 2023 and is now closed. We are busy analysing the data with results to be released later this year.
We welcome all early- and mid-career researchers involved in SHAPE disciplines to become a member of the Australian SHAPE EMCR Network and enjoy a range of benefits including access to member only e-newsletters, invitations and notification of events, and calls for input into our advocacy work for EMCRs in SHAPE disciplines.
We send our members updates on news, advice, resources, events and much more straight to their inbox. Enquire about joining our network to get be involved.
